Description
York band instruments are collected and played by a devoted group of followers. Instruments that date from 1940 and earlier are generally considered the more prized instruments, having been built in the original Grand Rapids factory in Michigan. This particular French Horn dates to the early 1930’s, by what I can see in their catalog collection. I could not find a serial number so it is listed as “NSN”. There is lacquer loss and some dings and dents from usage, some patches and solder work, but this horn is in excellent playing condition and has been serviced by our technicians. This horn is a real piece of history! It is in “F” with a piston valve which will put you in “Bb”. Own a piece of American Band History!
