Description
A vintage cornet with beautiful engraving from probably around 1900! After much research, we feel it was a stencil of the Couesnon brand. It matches very well with a picture in their 1900 catalog either their Model Riche or the Model Virtuose. Look as we may, we can not find any serial number. It is a silver cornet and is in beautiful cosmetic condition. It plays very well and has two lead pipe extensions. This instrument would be great for anyone trying to reproduce the music of the turn of the 20th century. If you’re a collector or an enthusiast, don’t let this one get away!
