The Yamaha YTR‑639 is a late‑1970s professional Bb trumpet modeled closely after the Schilke B3, known for its large bore, copper bell, and free‑blowing jazz‑friendly response. Free‑blowing and open, thanks to the large bore and reverse leadpipe. Warm and resonant, due to the copper/gold‑brass bell. Excellent for jazz and lead playing, with strong projection. Responsive and flexible, suitable for both ensemble and solo work. This particular trumpet has been serviced by our technicians and is in excellent playing condition. Cosmetically, it has seen some wear and tear. There is considerable lacquer wear, but no major dents or dings. Would make a great jazz band trumpet or even for marching band. Own a professional horn for a student level price! Comes in a hard case and includes a Bach 14 mouthpiece.
