Description
The Olds Ambassador is a vintage student trumpet model produced by F.E. Olds, introduced in 1948 under the guidance of legendary designer Foster Reynolds. It was designed to be durable, easy-playing, and affordable, quickly becoming a staple in postwar school music programs. Many players — including professionals — still use them today for their warm tone, excellent intonation, and rock‑solid build. This instrument has seen a lot of use but is still in excellent playing condition having been serviced by our technicians. Cosmetically, there is a lot of lacquer wear but no major dents or dings. It comes in a hard case and includes a Giardinelli 5 M mouthpiece. This trumpet would still be a great everyday player or a really nice marching band horn. The Los Angeles models are even somewhat collectable.
