Description
The Bach 42B is built around a .547″ large bore and an 8.5″ one‑piece hand‑hammered brass bell, giving it the broad, dark sound associated with orchestral tenor trombone playing. This trombone is in remarkable condition with very little sign of wear. The Bach 42B has been a mainstay of professional orchestral trombone sections for decades. Its large bore, broad bell, and F‑attachment make it ideal for: Orchestral tenor trombone roles, Solo repertoire requiring extended lower range, Wind ensemble and large ensemble playing. The F‑attachment extends the instrument’s range down to F, increasing flexibility for low passages and alternate positions. This instrument has been professionally serviced by our technicians and is ready for the advanced student or professional player to get that big Bach sound!
