The Bach 8B is a standard Vincent Bach trumpet mouthpiece with a medium‑deep cup, a fairly wide, slightly flatter rim, and an approximate cup diameter around 16.2 mm; it’s known for a full, darker tone and a rim shape that many players with protruding teeth find comfortable. The 8B produces a darker, robust sound with good volume and a centered core, making it a common choice for players who want more body and projection rather than a very bright, piercing lead tone.
