Description

Here is an Olds Recording Trumpet from around 1951. This is a vintage trumpet sought after by collectors and players who love that vintage sound! It has a .460 bore, offset second valve, balanced valves set forward on the horn, trombone style water keys, copper alloy lead pipe and a third valve spring-loaded trigger that squeezes toward the player. The lacquer is worn, but the appearance of the instrument is very good considering the age. It was chemically cleaned by the Horn Hospital in January of 2025. According to the serial number, this trumpet was produced in Los Angeles, before the company moved to Fullerton. These don’t come around too often!
