Introducing Our Horn Hospital Team
You may be a soloist, but you have an entire band here to support you!
Jim opened Horn Hospital, LLC in 1979. He began his career as a band instrument technician in 1976 as a student at Western Iowa College in Sioux City, Iowa. After finishing the course of study in band instrument repair, Jim took a job as a shop technician with a full-line music store in Enid, Oklahoma. After two years with this company, it was time for Jim to move back east and open Horn Hospital, LLC. When not at the shop, Jim can be found in his hangar restoring vintage airplanes.

Nick came to Horn Hospital, LLC as an apprentice in 2012 after graduating from Harrisburg Area Community College’s Music Merchandising program. He is now our saxophone and orchestral string specialist. In his free time, Nick likes to be outdoors- hiking, camping and fishing. He can also be found as a freelance saxophonist playing with jazz, blues or rock bands in the greater Harrisburg area.
Anna started her apprenticeship at Horn Hospital LLC fresh out of high school in 2018. Having successfully completed her apprenticeship, she is now our primary flute and clarinet technician. When Anna is not working at the shop, she can be found pursuing any creative endeavor she sets her mind to: painting, sewing, crocheting, even book binding! Anna enjoys any opportunity to create something with her hands.
Jeff is a retired band and choral director from the West Perry School District. He does Horn Hospital, LLC deliveries and pick-ups at our numerous local schools and works with the schools’ band and orchestra directors to meet their programs’ needs. Jeff plays clarinet and saxophone in a variety of local bands and enjoys fishing and hiking with his four grandsons.
Josiah came to Horn Hospital, LLC as an apprentice in 2023. Josiah’s main focus is brass instrument repair; however, he also preps our lease instruments of all types. Josiah is responsible for our instrument accessories sales and inventory. He also assists with lease contract administration. When he’s not in the shop, Josiah can be found gaming, maintaining his collectibles or spending time with his cat Todd.
Noah began working at Horn Hospital, LLC in 2022 through a Messiah University internship program. Graduating in 2025, he is now pursuing a career in instrument repair and sales. Noah preps our lease instruments and repairs string instruments. He also assists with instrument sales and lease contract administration.
