Description

This is the Model 38B, the larger, heavier‑braced version with a 5 1/8″ bell diameter. It features a seamless Coprion leadpipe, Crysteel valves, and a first valve tuning slide trigger. The 38B is prized for its full, resonant tone and is one of Conn’s most iconic models. The Conn Connstellation series was Conn’s top‑of‑the‑line professional trumpet family from the late 1940s through the 1960s. These horns are prized for their nickel‑plated bodies, strong projection, and excellent intonation, making them favorites among lead players and collectors. This instrument is in excellent playing condition. It has been thoroughly serviced by our technicians and is ready to play. Cosmetically, there is some lacquer wear on the tuning slide, but no dings or dents.
