York band instruments are collected and played by a devoted group of followers.\u00a0 Instruments that date from 1940 and earlier are generally considered the more prized instruments, having been built in the original Grand Rapids factory in Michigan.\u00a0 \u00a0This particular French Horn dates to the early 1930’s, by what I can see in their catalog collection.\u00a0 I could not find a serial number so it is listed as “NSN”. There is lacquer loss and some dings and dents from usage, some patches and solder work, but this horn is in excellent playing condition and has been serviced by our technicians.\u00a0 This horn is a real piece of history!\u00a0 It is in “F” with a piston valve which will put you in “Bb”.\u00a0 Own a piece of American Band History!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
