This is the Model 38B, the larger, heavier\u2011braced version with a 5\u202f1\/8″ bell diameter. It features a seamless Coprion leadpipe, Crysteel valves, and a first valve tuning slide trigger. The 38B is prized for its full, resonant tone and is one of Conn\u2019s most iconic models. The Conn Connstellation series was Conn\u2019s top\u2011of\u2011the\u2011line professional trumpet family from the late 1940s through the 1960s. These horns are prized for their nickel\u2011plated bodies, strong projection, and excellent intonation, making them favorites among lead players and collectors. This instrument is in excellent playing condition. It has been thoroughly serviced by our technicians and is ready to play.
